[Financial News] RESCENE's fandom, REMINE, has stepped up to donate to neighbors affected by flooding.
On the 18th, a dedicated fundraising page for the "2026 Flood Relief for Neighbors (REMINE)" was launched at the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, and more than 40 million won was raised within a day.
As of 9 a.m. on the 19th, the total had reached 40,348,357 won, according to RESCENE's fan gallery. A total of 801 people took part in the fundraising.
Fans are spreading this positive influence by sharing fundraising news and participation methods through online communities. The money raised will be used for recovery efforts in flood-hit areas and support for displaced residents.
RESCENE is a five-member girl group consisting of Woni, Liv, Minami, May and Zena. The group made its debut in March 2024 with its first single album, "Re:Scene," and the title track "UhUh."
Later, a scene from Woni's personal YouTube content went viral as a short-form meme. Woni, who is from Geoje, joked, "If I go to Geoje like that, the citizens will scold me," and Minami, the Japanese member, replied, "Geoje, yaho!" The clip helped propel the group to stardom two years after its debut.
After the short-form meme spread, the number of Melon users searching for RESCENE increased by about 65 times, and the group's album title track "LOVE ATTACK" made a reverse run to the top of the music charts.
