[Financial News] RaonSecure has been newly named to the Korea Exchange's 2026 KOSDAQ Rising Star list, recognized for its competitive edge and growth potential in security technologies such as biometric authentication and digital ID. The company is also accelerating its push into global markets by expanding into next-generation security areas, including artificial intelligence (AI) security and post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
RaonSecure said on the 14th that it had been selected as a new member of the 2026 KOSDAQ Rising Star program, which is run by the Korea Exchange. The program has been in place since 2009 to identify and nurture KOSDAQ-listed companies with strong technology, financial stability and growth potential. A total of 18 companies were selected this year, including eight new entrants such as RaonSecure.
RaonSecure has built competitiveness in biometric authentication, a zero-trust framework centered on integrated access management (IAM), and blockchain-based digital certification and security technologies. Its blockchain-based digital ID platform is used in the mobile ID service relied on by 45 million people in South Korea. The technology has also been applied to national digital identity services, including the mobile resident registration card, mobile driver's license and mobile national veterans registration card.
The biometric authentication platform supplied to Japan has surpassed 10 million monthly active users (MAU) this year. RaonSecure is also expanding its digital authentication and ID business into Southeast Asia and Latin America.
The company is also moving more aggressively into the next-generation security market. RaonSecure is developing five agentic AI security solutions, including autonomous security operations, agentic AI management (AAM), AI guardrails and AI hackers, and plans to roll them out sequentially from the third and fourth quarters. It aims to manage and control the identity, authority and behavior of AI agents, while building systems that automate threat detection, analysis and response, as well as vulnerability checks using AI.
Its PQC business is also leading to commercial references in the financial sector. The company has recently supplied PQC solutions to financial firms including NH NongHyup Non-Life Insurance and KDB Life Insurance, expanding adoption cases.
"We will continue to advance our competitiveness in AI security, PQC and digital ID, and grow into a global digital trust infrastructure company," a RaonSecure official said.
