BigBang's representatives said, "We are honored to join the new history of Korea's aerospace industry as its first public ambassador."
Oh Tae-seok, Administrator of the Korea AeroSpace Administration, said, "We selected BigBang as our ambassador to help create new challenges for Korea's aerospace industry together with the public." He added, "Through a range of communication activities, we will expand public interest in and participation in aerospace."
Meanwhile, KASA plans to carry out a variety of outreach activities so the public can take part in and relate to major future projects, including the fifth launch of Nuri (KSLV-II) and lunar exploration. It also plans to boost public interest in and support for aerospace through initiatives such as the Dream Capsule Project, which will send people's dreams and messages of support into space aboard the fifth Nuri launch, scheduled for the second half of this year.
