JYP Terminates Exclusive Contract with Gun-il, Reorganizing Xdinary Heroes as a Five-Member Group

[Financial News] JYP Entertainment said it has terminated its exclusive contract with Gun-il, a member of the band Xdinary Heroes.
On the 13th, JYP Entertainment said, "We have deeply recognized the seriousness of the situation involving member Gun-il and held extensive discussions with the artist from multiple angles." It added, "As a result, we determined that it would no longer be possible to continue team activities together, and we have decided to terminate the exclusive contract by mutual agreement."
It went on to say, "Gun-il will leave Xdinary Heroes as of today and bring his team activities to an end." The company added, "We sincerely apologize to fans for causing concern with this sudden news."
Xdinary Heroes will continue its activities as a five-member group. The agency said, "We will provide full support in every possible way so that the members can focus on their music activities in a stable environment."
Earlier, an online user claiming to be Gun-il's ex-girlfriend raised allegations that he had used abusive language toward a fan and released a recording. However, it has not been confirmed whether the man in the recording was Gun-il.
Gun-il debuted with Xdinary Heroes in 2021 and worked as the band's drummer.
