"Up to 11 Days Off Possible"...How Should You Use the 'Bridge Holiday'?

[Financial News] More office workers are preparing for a long vacation by taking advantage of the Chuseok holiday at the end of September and the bridge holiday in early October.
An analysis of flight search data for the second half of the year on the 12th showed that overseas ticket demand during the late-September and early-October holiday periods rose by about 35% from a year earlier.
This year's Chuseok falls on Friday, September 25, and the holiday is expected to run for four days, from September 24 to 27.
If workers add three days of annual leave, they can take up to nine consecutive days off. In October, using three days of leave between Monday, October 5, the substitute holiday for National Foundation Day, and Hangul Day on October 9 would again allow for a nine-day break.
Adding leave on October 1 and 2 would extend the vacation period to as many as 11 days.
Analysis of tourism data from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) found that search volume for domestic autumn foliage destinations surged in August as people planned for the long holiday.
Hotel bookings near major foliage spots such as Seoraksan and Naejangsan National Park are also rising quickly.

Meanwhile, some travelers are also moving to book overseas trips in advance ahead of the bridge holiday.
In particular, long-haul destinations such as Europe and the United States are seeing strong demand for the October holiday period.
