According to the industry on the 26th, bathrooms are spaces where moisture lingers for long periods, making them highly vulnerable to condensation and mold. In response, companies are introducing products with structures and materials that are easier to clean and help reduce the risk of contamination.
Daelim Bath has applied a rear-sealed structure to its premium integrated bidet. The design helps keep dust, moisture and other contaminants from entering the ceramic interior, making hygiene management easier.
The toilet also features a Rimless toilet design. By removing seams around the rim, it reduces spaces where waste and bacteria can accumulate and improves cleaning convenience.
A Daelim Bath official said, "The rear-sealed structure and rimless design are technologies applied to improve hygiene and convenience in areas that consumers cannot easily see."
Demand is also rising for bathroom options related to hygiene at Livart Ziptier, the total interior brand operated by HYUNDAI LIVART FURNITURE COMPANY LIMITED. In the past month, inquiries about bathroom package options that are resistant to moisture and stains rose 20% from a year earlier.
Livart Ziptier is offering products such as a filter-shelf shower faucet with a carbon filter and Adex grout, which offers greater durability and mold resistance than standard tile grout.
The Mellow Bathroom Package, launched earlier this year, allows customers to choose a classic faucet lineup treated with a double-plating process using physical vapor deposition (PVD). The product is designed to enhance surface corrosion resistance and improve durability against rust.
A HYUNDAI LIVART FURNITURE COMPANY LIMITED official said, "As the heat wave and hot, humid summer weather continue, customer interest in hygienic bathroom materials that are easy to maintain has increased significantly." The official added, "We will continue to expand functional premium options tailored to changes in customers' living environments and lifestyles."
