'Semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment' stocks surge on heavy buying as KOSDAQ rebounds [fn morning market]

[Financial News] KOSDAQ turned higher, supported by buying from individual investors. According to the Korea Exchange, as of 10:05 a.m. on the 11th, KOSDAQ was up 1.61% from the previous session at 868.23. It opened 0.69% lower than the previous day at 848.59, but later reversed course.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals posted a net purchase of 171 billion won. Foreign investors and institutions recorded net sales of 199.1 billion won and 25.1 billion won, respectively.
Among the KOSDAQ market cap leaders, semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment companies are rising. Jusung Engineering was trading at 165,500 won, up 14.30% from the previous day. WONIK IPS and PSK were also up in the 6% and 2% ranges, respectively.
The KOSPI Composite Index was down 0.95% from the previous session at 6,237.18. In the KOSPI market, institutions were net sellers of 210.2 billion won, while individuals and foreign investors were net buyers of 219.7 billion won and 2.2 billion won, respectively.
Among KOSPI sectors, electrical and electronics, transportation equipment and parts, and manufacturing were down more than 1%. Chemicals, construction, and real estate were up more than 1%.
Most of the KOSPI market cap leaders were lower. Samsung Electronics was slightly higher at 0.22%, but SK hynix (-3.10%), SK Square (-3.69%), and Samsung Electro-Mechanics (-5.73%) were all in decline.
