A Man in His 50s Wearing an Electronic Ankle Monitor Arrested for Walking Naked... "I Was Wandering Around in a Drowsy State After Taking Sleep Medication"

[Financial News] A man in his 50s was caught red-handed by police after walking around a street in downtown Daegu while naked. He was reportedly wearing a location-tracking electronic device.
According to the Daegu Dongbu Police Station on the 10th, the man, identified only as A, was apprehended at the scene on charges of public indecency.
A is accused of walking around unclothed at around 2:20 p.m. on a street in Sinam-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, that day. He was reportedly wearing an electronic ankle monitor at the time.

Police officers who responded to the scene arrested A after analyzing closed-circuit television footage and other evidence. He is currently being held in a detention room.

During questioning, A reportedly said, "I took psychiatric medication and then wandered around in a drowsy state." Police determined that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
A police official said, "He is still within the recidivism period shortly after being released, so we are also considering requesting an arrest warrant."
