"A UFO Appeared in Korea"... Three Bright Points Spotted Over Goyang and Gimpo

[Financial News] Over the weekend, mysterious glowing objects and a massive cloud curtain that appeared to split the sky exactly in half were spotted in the skies above the Capital Region, drawing public attention and sparking discussion.
According to YTN and online communities on the 10th, three small white glowing dots were seen moving at regular intervals in the middle of the sky over Gwan-san-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, and the Gimpo City area on the 9th.
According to the submitted video, the objects, which looked like white dots, moved slowly across the clear sky and gradually changed formation. Some witnesses and internet users speculated that they might be an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).
Experts, however, said the objects were highly unlikely to be UFOs. They pointed out that there were no unusual flight patterns such as unrealistic high-speed flight, sudden acceleration, or right-angle turns. Instead, they suggested the objects were more likely large balloons or drone bodies drifting at high altitude and reflecting strong sunlight, making them appear as bright points of light from the ground.
That same day, another strange phenomenon was observed in the skies over the Capital Region, including Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon. The boundary between the blue sky and the white cloud layer formed a striking straight line, spreading out like a giant curtain.
Meteorologically, this is explained as a 'frontal cloud' phenomenon. It occurs when air masses with different characteristics collide strongly, forming a kind of frontal zone. Experts believe that in the sweltering summer heat, clouds formed along the boundary pushed by an easterly wind, and the lower part meeting dry air evaporated almost instantly, creating a sharp straight-line boundary.
Meanwhile, recent broadcasts have highlighted issues involving unidentified flying objects, including the diversion incident at Gimhae International Airport in Busan that occurred in May. As a result, public curiosity and interest in the unusual scene over the Capital Region continued for some time.
