Fire at Jeonju Agricultural and Marine Products Market Destroys 19 Stalls; No Casualties Reported

[Financial News, Jeonju = Reporter Kang In] Market stalls at the agricultural and marine products market were damaged in the nighttime fire.
According to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Fire Headquarters on the 10th, the fire broke out at around 11:10 p.m. the previous day at the agricultural and marine products market in Deokjin District, Jeonju.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control completely at around 3:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Of the 40 stalls in the market building, 19 were in operation, and authorities said they had confirmed the whereabouts of all merchants or made contact with them.
The Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters is conducting a joint investigation at the scene with police and other agencies to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
A Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters official said, "We mobilized all available personnel and equipment to quickly bring the flames under control," adding, "We plan to work with related agencies to determine the exact cause of the fire."
