[Financial News] BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) and Google's generative artificial intelligence (AI) service Gemini appeared on the exterior of the Sphere in Las Vegas, the world's largest spherical LED performance venue. Google released a 60-second teaser video hinting at a collaboration between Gemini and BTS on the global landmark, raising expectations among fans around the world.
Google said on the 7th that it would screen the BTS-Gemini teaser video in rotation on the exterior of the Las Vegas Sphere from Aug. 2 to 8 local time. The video follows the first teaser released on the 6th.
A roughly 60-second video opens with the Gemini and BTS logos, then vividly captures the energy of a packed audience and the logo and imagery for BTS's fifth studio album, Arirang. It then features a night view of Gyeongbokgung Palace and a Gemini search window, creating a scene that blends Korean culture with AI technology.
Through this campaign, Google said it aimed to express "a new world created by technology and art" by combining Gemini's technological capabilities with BTS's creativity, which has constantly pushed boundaries. While it did not disclose the details of the collaboration, the teaser points to a new AI-based experience to be unveiled by both sides.
Sphere is a massive spherical venue standing 112 meters tall and 157 meters wide. It is one of Las Vegas's signature landmarks, equipped with an LED display covering about 580,000 square meters across its entire exterior. The venue is used as a symbolic space for global companies to unveil new products and brand campaigns, drawing worldwide attention with its overwhelming visual impact.

Industry observers see the collaboration with BTS, the world-renowned K-pop group, as part of Google's strategy to further boost Gemini's global brand recognition. As AI competition expands beyond model performance into brand experiences tied to cultural content, this campaign is also being interpreted as an effort to make AI feel more familiar to the public.
A Google official said, "The teaser video, presented on the overwhelming scale of Sphere, is expected to become another milestone in the meeting of Google's AI and BTS."
Meanwhile, BTS is currently on its North America tour and continues its global popularity by drawing tens of thousands of fans to stadium concerts in major cities.
