KT CEO Park Yoon-young Inspects AI Data Center Site, Strengthens AI Infrastructure Competitiveness

[Financial News] On the 6th, KT Corporation CEO Park Yoon-young visited an AI Data Center site to inspect the operation of AI infrastructure and the status of technology development.
Park described the AI Data Center as a core infrastructure for KT Corporation's leap forward as an AI transformation (AX) platform company, and urged the company to make every effort to ensure the quality and stability of AI services.
That day, Park visited KT Cloud Mokdong 2 Data Center in Yangcheon District, Seoul. He encouraged employees in charge of data center operations and inspected the integrated control center and major facilities to review the infrastructure operation system.
Park also checked the status of data center interconnection (DCI) operations. DCI is a technology that connects and processes the rapidly growing traffic between data centers as AI services expand. He called for greater efforts to improve the quality and stability of AI services that subscribers can actually feel.
He also visited the 'AI Innovation Center' inside Mokdong 2 Data Center and reviewed the development and demonstration status of next-generation AI Data Center technologies. The center is testing several methods to improve power efficiency and operational stability, including the direct cooling system (D2C), which was commercialized for the first time in Korea at the Gasan AI Data Center.
