Mija, who went all in on SK hynix at the 2.7 million won level, says when asked about her recent status, "I'd be dead if I sold now"

[Financial News] Broadcaster Mija, who previously said she suffered about 100 million won in losses from investing in construction stocks, shared an update after buying SK hynix shares.
On the 5th, Mija talked about stocks over a meal with her parents, actors Jang Gwang and Jun Sung-ae, and her husband, comedian Kim Tae-hyun, on her YouTube channel, Mija's Tavern.
When her father, Jang Gwang, asked, "You said your stocks were a total disaster. How are things these days?" Mija was at a loss for words.
Kim Tae-hyun then joked, "Stocks are a forbidden word in our house," adding, "Even now, people keep sending messages telling her to get out of SK hynix quickly. From what I can tell, Mija doesn't seem like she'll sell."
Mija then replied with a bitter smile, "I'd be dead if I sold now."
Earlier, on June 18, Mija posted on Instagram, "I just got into SK hynix. If I lose again this time, I won't have any stocks left in my life."
The photo she shared showed SK hynix touching the 2.7 million won level, its intraday high. She reportedly explained her reason for buying by saying, "I saw it surge like that and just jumped in."
On June 23, SK hynix rose as high as 3,002,000 won during trading, breaking above the 3 million won mark for the first time ever.
However, in July, it turned downward as concerns spread over an AI bubble and uncertainty about whether major U.S. tech companies would keep investing. On the 28th of last month, the stock plunged about 13% shortly after the market opened, and it fell nearly 42% over the month of July alone.
Meanwhile, as of 9:05 a.m. on the 6th, SK hynix was trading at 1,596,000 won, down 4.32% from the previous session. Mija, who bought at the 2.7 million won level, is still stuck in the red, with the stock more than 1 million won below her purchase price per share.
