If a severe heat warning is issued, with a predicted perceived temperature of 38 degrees or a maximum temperature of 39 degrees or higher, a decision on whether to cancel the game must be made before 1:00 PM on the day of the match.
On the 4th, the first day the new standards were implemented, games in Jamsil and Gwangju were canceled as scheduled due to the issuance of a severe heat warning, whereas games in Incheon proceeded normally as only a lower-level heat warning was issued.
