Lee Hi's World Tour Canceled Four Days Before Launch; "Not the Artist's Fault...Legal Action Will Be Taken"

[Financial News] The world tour by singer Lee Hi and her agency, 808 Hi Recordings, has been completely canceled just four days before the first show.
On the 4th, 808 Hi Recordings posted a notice about the tour cancellation on its official Instagram account.
The agency said, "On August 2, we were notified by the tour organizer, KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA INC., that all shows for the 'LEEHI & 808 HI RECORDINGS WORLD TOUR 2026' had been canceled and that refund procedures for ticket holders would begin." It added, "This cancellation was not the result of any decision or fault on the part of the artist."
It continued, "We repeatedly extended the payment deadline and requested that contractual obligations be fulfilled in order to proceed with the performances, but the organizer informed us of the cancellation without completing payment or the necessary preparations."
The agency also said, "For details regarding ticket refunds, please contact the ticket vendor where you made your purchase." It added, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the tour, and we plan to pursue the necessary legal procedures in this matter."
Lee Hi had been scheduled to begin the tour in Singapore on the 8th and continue through 10 cities across Asia and Oceania, including Jakarta, Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland. However, the cancellation notice from the tour organizer has dashed hopes of meeting fans.
Meanwhile, Lee Hi, who finished second on the 2011 Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) variety show 'K-pop Star,' made her solo debut in October 2012 and went on to release hit songs such as '1,2,3,4' and 'Breathe.'
She later founded the independent label 808 Hi Recordings with her boyfriend, rapper Dok2 on Leaving Korea and Finding Love.
