Suspected in Frequent Wildfires... Suspect Arrested in the Northwestern United States

[Financial News]  A suspect has been arrested in connection with a major wildfire in the Spokane area of Washington State in the northwestern United States, where more than 1,000 buildings burned and more than 65,000 residents were evacuated.
On the 4th local time, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that the Spokane Security Bureau arrested a man in his 30s on first-degree arson charges and set bail at about $1 million.
The 37-year-old suspect, a repeat offender who had previously been charged with murder, was taken into custody near the ignition point on the 1st and later released, but was arrested again in connection with this wildfire.
According to the bureau, the suspect was carrying matches and a lighter at the time of arrest, and is believed to be unrelated to two other wildfires in the area.
Over the weekend, the wildfire burned between 700 and as many as about 1,110 buildings in the Spokane area, with damage covering 4,160 hectares.
AFP reported that firefighting efforts have been helped by lower temperatures and higher humidity since the 3rd.
