Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, hits a record 41.6 C; "Without a parasol in this heat, you'd burn to death"

and 3 p. m. is usually the hottest time of the day. 0 C, it would be an unprecedented event. Even including automatic weather stations, there has never been a case in South Korea where the temperature rose to 42 C.
