[Financial News] As volatility in major tech stocks, especially semiconductors, continues to widen day by day, Warren Buffett's Coca-Cola stake, which he has held for 38 years, has drawn attention after hitting an all-time high.
The Coca-Cola stock Buffett loved hits an all-time high

According to CNBC on the 28th local time, Coca-Cola raised its full-year earnings outlook along with its second-quarter results. Revenue for the second quarter came in at $13.38 billion, topping the forecast of $13.16 billion. Adjusted earnings per share also reached 97 cents, beating Wall Street's estimate of 93 cents.
As a result, Coca-Cola said it now expects full-year adjusted earnings per share to rise 8% to 9% from its previous forecast, and to increase 9% to 10% from a year earlier. It also raised its outlook for organic revenue growth to about 5%, up from the previous range of 4% to 5%.
The stock also surged on the back of those results. On the New York stock market, Coca-Cola closed at $88.27, up 5.0% from the previous session, and at one point during the day it broke above $90 to set a new record high.
With uncertainty rising amid geopolitical tensions in the Middle East caused by the war between the United States and Iran, as well as concerns over an 'artificial intelligence (AI) peakout,' Coca-Cola's sharp rally has inevitably drawn investors' attention. The rise of the defensive stock has also put Buffett's long-term investment strategy back in the spotlight.
He has not bought or sold for more than 30 years... an example of a 'long-term investment philosophy'

Buffett began buying Coca-Cola shares in 1988 and later invested $1.3 billion through Berkshire Hathaway to acquire about 400 million shares. Berkshire Hathaway now holds a 9.3% stake in Coca-Cola, worth more than $31 billion.
Since then, Buffett has kept his Coca-Cola stake unchanged for more than 30 years without adding to or selling it. Market watchers say this reflects his investment in Coca-Cola's powerful brand, pricing power, and stable cash flow.
In particular, as short-term trading fever continues amid the recent AI boom, Coca-Cola's performance, backed by steady earnings and dividends, is drawing renewed attention as a case that reflects Buffett's long-emphasized long-term investment philosophy. In a 1989 shareholder letter, Buffett said, "My favorite holding period is forever when you own a piece of a great business run by outstanding management."
