Samsung Electronics Earns 89.2 Trillion Won From Semiconductors in Q2; Finished Goods Post Losses (1st Report)

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics disclosed on the 30th that its consolidated sales for the second quarter came to 171.4995 trillion won, with operating profit of 89.4924 trillion won.
Of that total, the semiconductor business, or Device Solutions Division, posted sales of 127.5 trillion won and operating profit of 89.2 trillion won. The company delivered its best quarterly performance ever by responding aggressively to strong demand for server products, as agentic artificial intelligence (AI) spread across memory markets.
Sales in the finished-goods business, or Device eXperience Division (DX Division), reached 48 trillion won, while operating loss stood at 800 billion won. This marks the division's first move into the red since its launch.
