According to police on the 28th, the Seoul Gangbuk Police Station has urgently arrested and is questioning a man in his 50s, identified as A, on murder charges.
A is accused of attacking a woman in her 50s, identified as B, with a weapon at an officetel in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk District, causing her death.
After receiving a tip about the murder, police rushed to the scene at around 1:40 a.m. and arrested A on the spot. During the arrest, they found a weapon believed to have been used in the crime, along with items related to drugs.
Police have seized the items and are also investigating whether the case is linked to drug offenses.
