KOSPI Reclaims the 6,700 Level on Strong Buying by Retail and Institutional Investors [Fn Market Close]

[Financial News] KOSPI (Korea Composite Stock Price Index) reclaimed the 6,700 level on the 27th, driven by strong buying from both retail and institutional investors.
The index closed at 6,755.75, up 65.13 points, or 0.97%, from the previous trading day.
KOSPI opened at 6,806.27, up 115.65 points, or 1.73%, from the previous session, and repeatedly swung between gains and losses.
In the Korea Exchange Main Board, foreign investors sold 2.9039 trillion won worth of shares, while retail and institutional investors bought 1.9799 trillion won and 862.3 billion won worth, respectively.
Among the 14 largest-cap stocks, SK hynix rose the most, up 3.24%, followed by Samsung Electronics, up 1.80%, and Samsung Biologics, up 1.78%.
On the other hand, Hanwha Aerospace fell the most, down 8.17%, followed by Samsung Life Insurance, down 2.04%, and SK Square, down 1.17%.
KOSDAQ (Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) closed at 764.86, up 16.64 points, or 2.22%, from the previous trading day. The index opened at 760.54, up 12.32 points, or 1.65%.
