KOSPI Reclaims the 6,700 Level on Retail Buying [Afternoon Market Update]

[Financial News] The KOSPI reclaimed the 6,700 level on the 27th, supported by retail buying.
As of 2:17 p.m. that day, the KOSPI was trading at 6,718.66, up 28.04 points, or 0.42%, from the previous session.
The index opened at 6,806.27, up 115.65 points, or 1.73%, from the previous session, but has been fluctuating between gains and losses.
In the domestic main board market, foreign investors sold 2.5875 trillion won worth of shares, while individuals and institutions bought 2.0956 trillion won and 451.5 billion won, respectively.
Among the 14 largest stocks by market capitalization, SK hynix rose the most, up 1.93%, followed by Samsung Biologics, up 1.58%, and Samsung Electronics, up 1.20%. On the other hand, Mobile Tactical Cannon program fell the most, down 8.17%, followed by SK Square, down 3.70%, and Samsung Life Insurance, down 2.52%.
The KOSDAQ was trading at 764.10, up 15.88 points, or 2.12%, from the previous session. The index opened at 760.54, up 12.32 points, or 1.65%.
