[Financial News] Bitcoin rose to the $64,000 range on the 27th as it watched the military situation between the United States and Iran.
According to global crypto data platform CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin was trading around $64,000 as of 10:20 a.m., up 0.87% from the previous day on a 24-hour basis. Over the past week, Bitcoin has gained 0.48%.
Bitcoin is trading in the 94 million won range on the Korean won market. Based on Cryprice, the Korean premium stands at -0.65%.
The move is seen as reflecting a growing number of investors taking a wait-and-see approach as the exchange of force between the United States and Iran has eased. According to foreign media reports, Trump told reporters that day, "Serious talks are under way with Iran."
Mohammad Akraminia, a spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, also said on the 26th local time, "U.S. attacks have stopped over the past two days," adding, "We have also suspended retaliatory operations."
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index, provided by CoinMarketCap, stood at 39 on the day, indicating "fear." The index ranges from 0 to 100, with values closer to 0 interpreted as "extreme fear" and those closer to 100 as "extreme greed."
At the same time, Ethereum was trading around $1,940, up 3.34% from the previous day. Ripple was up 0.67% and trading around $1.10.
