Lee Jae-yong, Chung Eui-sun and Lee Hae-jin Meet Jensen Huang at NVIDIA Headquarters in the U.S.

[Financial News] Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Electronics, Chung Eui-sun, chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, and Lee Hae-jin, founder and board chairman of Naver, visited NVIDIA's headquarters and met with CEO Jensen Huang.
After touring NVIDIA's headquarters in Santa Clara, California, on the 24th local time, Lee, Chung and Lee took a commemorative photo with Huang, the company's founder, in the lobby of the Endeavor Building on campus.
An NVIDIA official said, "At the time the photo was taken, NVIDIA employees around them were continuing their work as usual."
NVIDIA did not disclose the details of the meeting or the topics discussed among the participants.
During the meeting, Lee and Huang were expected to focus heavily on memory and foundry businesses. Samsung Electronics supplies NVIDIA with high-performance memory, including high-bandwidth memory (HBM).

Chung and Huang were reported to have discussed cooperation in a wide range of areas, including autonomous driving, robotics and manufacturing AI.
In particular, Huang had previously referred to Saemangeum, Hyundai Motor Group's planned investment site, as Korea's "AI Valley" and mentioned the possibility of building a data center there. As a result, the two sides were also believed to have discussed cooperation related to Saemangeum during this meeting.
Naver executives, including board chairman Lee Hae-jin and CEO Soo Yeon Choi, are expected to discuss cooperation with Huang on building an AI Factory. An AI Factory is a facility that supports large-scale AI computing by combining AI models and cloud technologies with physical infrastructure such as Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) servers, data centers, and power and cooling systems.
Meanwhile, Huang had dinner with Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, in Woodside, California, the previous day, where they discussed ways to expand cooperation in AI infrastructure, semiconductors and physical AI.
