[Financial News] The amount Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, must pay Noh So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, as part of their divorce property division has been set at 944 billion won in the remanded appeal.
Civil Division 1 (Family Affairs) of the Seoul High Court, presided over by Judge Lee Sang-joo, delivered the ruling at 2 p.m. on the 24th in the remanded appeal over the property division in the divorce case between Chey and Noh.
The court recognized Noh's share as one-third, or 33.3%, of the couple's total joint assets, and calculated the recently surging SK Inc. shares based on their value on April 16, 2024, when the Supreme Court of Korea previously closed arguments in the earlier appeal, rather than their current price in the remanded appeal.
