[Financial News] A service that lets users receive Donald Trump’s Truth Social posts earlier is being considered at a fee of up to $100,000 a month, or about 150 million won. It is the charge for the 'Truth API' product offered by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which operates Truth Social. Concerns have also been raised over a possible conflict of interest, as President Trump holds about a 41% stake in TMTG.
According to foreign media reports on the 18th, TMTG has set that amount as the monthly fee for the 'Truth API' product it will begin selling to companies next month.
Truth API is a service that delivers the content of the president’s posts to paid users down to the millisecond before they are made public. Because Trump often posts announcements on Truth Social that can affect markets, including tariffs, trade policy, and interest rates, asset managers and related industries, where even a split-second difference can determine profits, are likely to take a close interest.
Market reactions are divided, with some saying the price is 'expensive' and others arguing that there will be demand. At the same time, concerns are growing over a conflict of interest involving President Trump. He holds about a 41% stake in TMTG.
