A spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on the 15th (local time) that Iran has no plans to talk with the United States and that now is the time to focus on defending the country.
According to Al Jazeera, spokesperson Esmail Baghaei told reporters that Iran would respect the commitments it made to the international community only when the United States does the same.
Baghaei said, "Our commitments are valid only when the other side keeps its own commitments," adding that Iran had suspended its obligations under the previous MOU after the United States broke the interim agreement.
He said, "Since the other side has violated its obligations, we will not carry out any commitments on any matter that is required of us."
Meanwhile, as the U.S. military carried out an unusual daytime bombing campaign, the Iranian Health Ministry said at least 35 people were killed in the attack.
In addition, the Iranian Education Ministry said it would postpone all graduation exams for 12th-grade students. The exams had been scheduled for June 16 to 18.
