The Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC), led by the United States Navy, said on the 13th local time that the blockade of Iranian ports and coastal areas will resume at 8 p.m. GMT on the 14th, which is 5 a.m. on the 15th in Korea.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Iranian ports and coastal areas would be blocked again, and that civilian vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz would be charged a transit fee equal to 20% of their cargo.
According to Al Jazeera, JMIC said in a statement that "CENTCOM will begin a naval blockade of all Iranian ports and coastal areas," adding that "all neutral vessels departing the blockade zone will be warned until the blockade begins."
The blockade covers Iran's entire southern coast, including ports and oil terminals.
JMIC also said that passage by neutral vessels traveling to and from destinations other than Iran would not be disrupted, and that humanitarian aid cargo would be allowed to move after inspection.
