Iran's military says, "Strait of Hormuz fully blocked until further notice"

The IRGC added, "We have previously stated that we would respond firmly to foreign interference and the illegal designation of routes in the Strait of Hormuz, and that the increase in traffic would be disrupted."
It also explained that one ship that tried to pass through an unauthorized route was stopped after warning shots were fired, saying the vessel "turned off its systems and endangered maritime security."
The IRGC said, "If the enemy makes a mistake or launches new aggression against us under the pretext of this incident, which it caused itself, we will respond forcefully and new enemy bases in the region will become targets." It added, "The United States, the Zionist enemy (Israel), and the countries that provided bases for such threats will be responsible for the consequences of this intervention."
