KOSPI Rises More Than 3% on Institutional and Foreign Buying [Financial News Morning Market]

[Financial News] KOSPI rose more than 3% on the 9th, driven by buying from institutions and foreign investors.
As of 10:17 a.m. that day, KOSPI was trading at 7,528.23, up 281.44 points, or 3.88%, from the previous session.
KOSPI opened at 7,486.64, up 239.85 points, or 3.31%, from the previous session. In the domestic main board market, individual investors sold 1.0728 trillion won worth of shares, while institutions and foreign investors bought 773.4 billion won and 371.5 billion won worth, respectively.
Among the top 14 stocks by market capitalization, SK hynix rose the most, up 8.14%, followed by SK Square at 6.61%, LG Energy Solution at 5.07%, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics at 5.0%.
Samsung Electronics, the largest stock by market capitalization, was trading at 288,000 won, up 3.78% from the previous session. On the other hand, Kia fell 3.57%, Hanwha Aerospace 3.46%, Samsung Life Insurance 1.16%, Hyundai Motor Company 2.89%, and Samsung Biologics 0.29%.
KOSDAQ was trading at 818.14, up 33.14 points, or 4.22%, from the previous session. The index opened at 794.03, up 9.03 points, or 1.15%, that morning.
