Iran says, "The United States violated the MOU... Not a single U.S. soldier will make it back alive"

Iran warned on the 8th (local time) that if war resumes, not a single U.S. soldier will return alive, saying that it was the United States that violated the ceasefire MOU (memorandum of understanding).
According to Al Jazeera, Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, wrote on social media platform X that "the United States violated the framework of the agreement through unilateral action and attacks on Iran." He also claimed that Article 5 of the MOU "specifies Iran's responsibility to coordinate the safe passage of vessels in the Strait of Hormuz."
Baqaei said Iran would defend its interests and exercise its sovereignty.
Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, posted a warning to the U.S. military on his X account.
He warned that if U.S. President Donald Trump carried out his threat to attack Kharg Island, where key Iranian oil facilities are located, "not a single U.S. soldier will make it back alive." Rezaei added provocatively, "Come on, we're waiting."
Meanwhile, as President Trump declared that the MOU ending the war with Iran was over, casualties were reported after Israel resumed airstrikes in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli drone struck Nabatieh Taouka, killing two men. According to NNA, the two men died in the drone attack while walking near Gandour Hospital.
