KOSDAQ also triggers sell-side circuit breaker after KOSPI plunge [fn afternoon market report]

[Financial News] After KOSPI, the KOSDAQ market also triggered a temporary suspension of program sell orders, known as a circuit breaker, on the 2nd.
At 1:48 p.m. that day, the Korea Exchange said a sell-side circuit breaker was triggered in the KOSDAQ market at 12:47:15 p.m. due to fluctuations in the KOSDAQ 150 Index futures and spot index.
Earlier, at 9:07:03 a.m., program sell orders were suspended for five minutes because of changes in the KOSPI 200 Index futures.
At the time of reporting, KOSPI was trading at 7854.37, down 449.04 points, or 5.41%, from the previous trading day. KOSDAQ was trading at 890.08, down 39.27 points, or 4.23%, from the previous day.
SK hynix was trading at 2,334,000 won, down 8.83% from the previous session, while Samsung Electronics was trading at 291,000 won, down 7.47%.
