[Financial News] On the 25th, President Lee Jae-myung said, "I will gather broad public understanding and support to push ahead firmly and without wavering on key issues, including the future-oriented use of excess tax revenue, real estate tax policy, labor and pension reform, and bold regional development strategies."
He made the remarks at the Senior Presidential Aides Meeting he chaired at the Blue House that day.
Lee said, "Improving people's lives, the top principle of state affairs, is embodied through the careful overhaul of laws and institutions."
He added, "Now, in the second year of my term, we must accelerate the improvement of livelihoods and the restructuring of society by institutionalizing major national policy tasks." He also stressed, "In this process, we must not stop reform on the issues that are essential for the future of our society, and we should continue through discussion and persuasion."
