[Financial News] BTS Jungkook has become the first Korean singer to surpass 3 billion streams with his debut solo single, "Seven (feat. Latto)."
According to Big Hit Music on the 23rd, "Seven," released in July 2023, has surpassed 3 billion cumulative plays on Spotify, the global audio and music streaming platform, as of June 23. Jungkook is the first Korean artist to top 3 billion Spotify streams with a single song.
The music video has also remained popular thanks to its witty and stylish direction, surpassing 600 million views on YouTube in April.
Along with "Seven," Jungkook has placed three songs in the 1 billion-stream club: the title track from his solo album "Golden," "Standing Next to You," and his solo single "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)."
Cortis's 'Red Red' becomes Spotify Korea's 50th No. 1

Cortis has claimed the record for the most No. 1s by a single boy-group song on Spotify's daily chart in Korea.
According to Big Hit Music on the 23rd, the title track "Red Red" from Cortis's second mini album, featuring Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Keonho, reached No. 1 for the 50th time on Spotify Daily Top Songs Korea on the 20th.
That is the longest and most frequent No. 1 run for a boy-group single since the chart began tracking in early 2021.
The song also surpassed 100 million cumulative Spotify streams on the 16th. It reached the milestone 57 days after release, making it the fastest among boy-group songs that debuted within the past five years to hit 100 million streams.
