[Financial News] Prime Minister nominee Han Seong-sook has resolved the multiple-home issue and now owns only one home.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office on the 23rd, Han sold two additional homes after disposing of her Jamsil apartment in May, leaving her with only one property in Samcheong-dong.
The additional properties sold this time were a Yeoksam-dong officetel, with the final payment completed on June 23, and a Yangpyeong County country house, with the final payment completed on June 22. The previously sold Jamsil apartment has also completed the transfer of ownership.
Among the three homes Han sold, the Jamsil apartment was sold below market value, while the Yeoksam-dong officetel and the Yangpyeong County country house were sold for less than their purchase prices. Of the capital gains from the Jamsil apartment sale, 500 million won was donated to an international relief and development organization.
Han emphasized, "I deeply feel the heavy responsibility of a senior public official, and I will take the lead in carrying out the government's housing policy direction."
