[Financial News] Hyundai Motor Group said on the 21st that Hyundai Motor Company, Kia and Genesis will each set up booths at the 2026 Busan International Mobility Show, which opens on the 26th.
Hyundai Motor Company will first set up a 2,040-square-meter exhibition hall and display 12 vehicles across eight models. Among the new models, the compact sedan All-New Avante, shown in three units, will be unveiled for the first time, along with three units of The New Grandeur. The eco-friendly lineup will include Hyundai Ioniq 5, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Hyundai Ioniq 9, Hyundai Kona Electric, Staria Lounge EV and the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle Hyundai Nexo.
The exhibition concept is centered on "experiencing a space that goes beyond cars to software and AI, and feeling mobility that connects with users." The booth will also feature hands-on content for the next-generation infotainment system Pleos Connect, along with programs introducing customer experiences and key technologies in the era of electrification.
Kia will operate a 2,040-square-meter exhibition hall, the same size as Hyundai Motor Company’s, under the theme "Your Life Partner for Every Moment, Kia," and will showcase 16 vehicles in total. The lineup includes seven EV models — EV3, EV4 GT, two EV5s, EV6 GT, EV9 and Vision Metaturismo — as well as nine PBV models: four Kia PV5 Passenger vehicles, two PV5 Cargo Long models, two Kia PV5 Cargo High Roof models and one PV5 Chassis Cab.
In particular, three derivative models of the PV5, Kia’s core PBV model — Passenger 2-2-3, Passenger Prime and Cargo High Roof — will be unveiled for the first time. Kia will also present six PV5 variants developed in collaboration with outside partners, including models customized for uses such as a school bus for children, an ice cream truck, a mobile pet pop-up store, a bike transport vehicle, a mobile bank and an AI patrol car. The booth will also include the PBV Village, which gathers five PV5 vehicles in one place, the PV5 Partners Zone, which displays four specialized models, and the EV Gallery, which showcases the full EV lineup.
Genesis will display a total of six vehicles, including concept cars, design models of production vehicles and mass-produced models, in a 1,120-square-meter exhibition hall. The key highlight is the Asia debut of the Genesis Magma GT Concept, a concept car from the high-performance Magma brand, and the design model of the GMR-001 Hypercar that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The production lineup will include one Genesis GV60 Magma, one Genesis Electrified GV70, one G80 electric model and one GV80 Black Coupe.
