President Lee to Brief Public on Europe Trip and G7 Outcomes on the 19th

[Financial News] President Lee Jae-myung will personally explain the results and achievements of his Europe trip just one day after returning home.
Kang Yoo-jung, senior presidential spokesperson at Cheong Wa Dae, said in a notice on the 18th, "President Lee Jae-myung will give a direct briefing tomorrow (the 19th) at 2 p.m. at the Chunchugwan Press Center on the results and achievements of his official visit to Belgium, the EU summit, his state visit to Italy, and the G7 summit."
In the briefing, Lee is expected to explain the outcomes of his official visit to Belgium, the EU summit, the state visit to Italy, and his attendance at the Group of Seven (G7) summit. He is also likely to highlight achievements in trade and the economy, security, supply chains, and multilateral diplomacy.
Since the 9th, Lee has been on a Europe trip that took him to Belgium, the European Union, Italy, the Holy See, and the G7 summit in Evian-les-Bains, France. The trip is expected to focus on expanded cooperation with major European countries and the EU, the results of the state visit to Italy, and his contacts with leaders of major countries on the sidelines of the G7 summit.
Lee returned to Seoul Air Base on the morning of the same day. The welcoming ceremony was attended by government and ruling party figures, including Prime Minister of South Korea Kim Min-seok, The Democratic Party of Korea leader Jung Chung-rae, and floor leader Han Byung-do.
