[Financial News] As BTS's "BTS World Tour Arirang in Busan" concert at Busan Asiad Main Stadium came to a successful close, the gift bags the members prepared for fans after the show have begun appearing on secondhand trading platforms, drawing attention.
On the 14th, numerous sale posts appeared on secondhand platforms such as Bungaejangter Inc. and Karrot Market under titles like "BTS Busan Concert Gift Set."
The gift bags were reportedly prepared by BTS members as a token of appreciation for fans who attended the "BTS World Tour Arirang in Busan" concerts held on the 12th and 13th at Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
But after the concert ended, listings quickly began flooding secondhand trading platforms.
Photos posted by sellers show that the blue transparent crossbody-style gift bags contain a handwritten card, cosmetics, perfume, towels, sheet masks, and other BTS merchandise.
The gift bags are being listed at a wide range of prices on secondhand platforms, from the 100,000-won range to as much as 500,000 won. In many cases, the photo cards included in the bags are also being sold separately.
Public reaction to the resale of the gift bags has been mixed.
Some users said, "Reselling gifts the members prepared themselves is not what true fandom looks like," while others argued, "Disposing of items you received is a matter of personal freedom."
Meanwhile, BTS met nearly 110,000 ARMY over the two days in Busan on the 12th and 13th. It was their first domestic stage performance in two months, since the first show of the "Arirang" tour in Goyang in April, and their first concert in Busan in three years and eight months, since "Yet to Come in Busan," their final concert before enlistment in October 2022.
After wrapping up their meeting with domestic fans in Busan, BTS will kick off their Europe tour in Madrid on the 26th local time.
