[Actor & Rookie Interview] Child Actor Park Na-gyeom: "Facial Expressions and Pronunciation Practice Are a Must! I Want to Be Like the Kind Actress Kim Ji-won"

[Financial News] Child actor Park Na-gyeom, born in 2020, shared her pure passion for acting and her growth story in an interview for the "Hidden Rookie Search" series.

Park Na-gyeom is a rising star with a wide range of charms and limitless potential. She is building her own filmography through various projects, including the tvN (Total Variety Network) X TVING short drama "My Daughter's Friend's Mother," the web drama "Seoul National University Hospital," and the film "The World of Love." She has also appeared in numerous commercials, as well as Hwasa's music video "So Cute," showing her overflowing talent in front of the camera.
Park Na-gyeom is currently receiving acting training at the Baewoo and Baeum Kids Center. Through systematic training, in-house auditions, and a casting system, she is gaining extensive on-set experience and growing into a better actress.
When asked what led her to start acting, she said, "I started because someone at a photo studio told me I should try modeling since I could take photos well without getting nervous." She added, "Now acting is so much fun that I am learning very hard."
She said the most important things in acting are "facial expressions and pronunciation." She explained, "If your expressions and pronunciation are off, the acting does not come across the way you want it to." As for her audition preparation, she shared a method based on everyday life. "I practice by putting my younger brother Do-hyeon into the script," she said. "When I play with my brother, I can learn all kinds of emotions, like anger, sadness, and happiness."
For her role model, she chose actress Kim Ji-won, whom she recently worked with on set. "Even when another actor made a mistake, she did not get angry and kept the set bright and cheerful," she said, expressing her admiration. "I want to become like actress Kim Ji-won, who is such a great actress and so cool."
When asked about her future goal, she replied, "I want to become an actress who is loved a lot, a lot."

Park Na-gyeom, who chose #Socute, #Sappungping, and #Ballet as hashtags that best describe her, also showed her confident charm by saying that if she became a hot topic through short-form videos, she would want the public to react, "She is really adorable, and just seeing Na-gyeom cry makes me tear up naturally."
