" She also mentioned that respect and compensation are not merely words, but actions. "The Government of Popular Sovereignty is steadily fulfilling the promises made here on Memorial Day one year ago.
The amendment to the Independence Meritorious Service Act, aimed at expanding the scope of compensation for the bereaved families of independence meritorious service personnel, is set to pass the National Assembly this year and take effect next year," he said.
"We are also preparing to designate quasi-veterans hospitals in the Gangwon and Jeju regions, which currently lack veterans hospitals, to provide the best possible medical benefits.
