[Financial News] Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, said on the 5th that "our Korean partners are very important to us."
Speaking to reporters at around 7:54 p.m. while meeting with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin at Hyeongnimjeoyo, a samgyeopsal restaurant near Hongik University in Mapo District, Huang said, "Business in Korea is doing very well, and this is only the beginning."
Huang said, "We are here to introduce our new product, Vera Rubin," adding, "It uses large amounts of HBM and memory, and our new CPU, Vera, also delivers innovative performance."
He added, "Vera requires a lot of high-performance memory. That is why great partners such as Samsung Electronics and SK hynix are becoming even more important."
NVIDIA's new PC lineup, RTX Spark, was also mentioned. Huang said, "AI PCs offer a completely different experience from the past, and these products also require a lot of memory."
Huang said, "Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, LG Group, Hyundai Motor, Naver, and many other Korean companies will grow together," adding, "We introduced one product this year, and more new products are waiting next year."
In the Q&A that followed, Huang said he plans to establish an AI Research Center.
He said, "We are currently hiring for the AI Research Center, which will conduct AI research and robotics research," and added, "If you know any AI researchers or engineers, please introduce them to us."
