TVING Suffers Personal Information Leak Incident... "Member IDs, Phone Numbers Exposed"

TVING, an over-the-top media service (OTT), said on the 3rd that members' personal information had been leaked.
\r\n TVING said on its website that it had confirmed that members' personal information was leaked due to recent unauthorized access. It added that it immediately strengthened security measures and has been carrying out continuous monitoring.
\r\n The leaked personal information includes member IDs, names, dates of birth, gender, phone numbers, and email addresses.
\r\n TVING explained, "We do not possess resident registration numbers or valid payment-related information, so they were not subject to the leak."
\r\n It also recommended that users change the passwords for other services that use the same account information as TVING to help prevent damage.
 TVING said it "deeply apologizes" for the incident and added that it will provide separate guidance later on compensation and other relief procedures.
