\r\n[Financial News] Han Yujin, a member of the rookie group And2ble, recently drew public attention after sharing the results of his investments on a variety show.
\r\n
\r\nHan said he turned an initial seed money of 1 million won, given by his father when he was 14, into 80 million won through investments in the domestic stock market alone.
Han appeared on JTBC's variety show 'Knowing Bros,' which aired on the 30th, and talked about his investment experience. On the show, he said, "My father told me to learn about the economy by jumping in and experiencing it myself. When I was 14, he gave me 1 million won and told me to invest it however I wanted." He added, "From that point on, I searched the market on my own and studied intensely. As a result, my returns have risen by 8,000%, and 1 million won became 80 million won."
He also explained his investment principles. When asked about his approach, Han said, "I only invest in the domestic stock market."
\r\n
\r\nAs for his portfolio, Han said, "The hottest sector these days is probably semiconductors, but when I first started investing, I read the trend and focused heavily on the maritime logistics industry." He added the background behind that early move. He continued, "I don't have as much time to watch the market as closely as I used to because of my entertainment activities, but my stock account is still hitting the upper limit and remains clearly in the red, meaning it's up."
