[Financial News] Allerman, the No. 1 bedding company in South Korea, reportedly posted strong results after investing in Samsung Electronics and SK hynix last year.
\r\nOn the 30th, according to the Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System (DART) of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), Allerman bought 30,000 shares of Samsung Electronics and 17,132 shares of SK hynix last year.
The average purchase prices per share were 108,800 won and 587,800 won, respectively, bringing the total investment to 13.3 billion won.
Based on the previous day's closing prices, Allerman's holdings were worth about 9.5 billion won in Samsung Electronics and about 40 billion won in SK hynix, for a total of 49.5 billion won. That means the investment has grown 3.7 times in less than a year.
Samsung Electronics and SK hynix have seen their share prices surge on the back of a semiconductor boom driven by artificial intelligence. So far this year alone, Samsung Electronics has jumped 164.39 percent, while SK hynix has soared 258.37 percent.
