\r\n[Financial News] Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, is reportedly set to visit South Korea next week. It will be his first visit in about seven months, since attending the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju last October.
According to Yonhap News Agency on the 28th, Huang is expected to travel to South Korea after wrapping up his schedule for NVIDIA's annual artificial intelligence conference, 'GTC Taipei 2026,' which will be held in Taipei next week.

GTC Taipei will run from the 1st to the 4th of next month. Huang is expected to unveil NVIDIA's next-generation AI semiconductors and AI infrastructure strategy in his keynote speech on the opening day.
Industry watchers are paying close attention to the possibility that Huang's visit will accelerate cooperation talks with domestic chipmakers such as Samsung Electronics and SK hynix. Key topics are expected to include high bandwidth memory (HBM), next-generation AI accelerators, advanced packaging, and foundry partnerships.
NVIDIA leads the global AI accelerator market, but analysts say it needs close cooperation with Korean companies that have strengths in HBM and advanced chip manufacturing to maintain the competitiveness of its next-generation products.
During this trip, Huang is also expected to discuss broader cooperation with major IT companies such as LG and Naver, including cloud services, Physical AI, and AI service infrastructure.
His back-to-back visits to Taiwan and South Korea are being interpreted as a strategic move by NVIDIA to strengthen ties with both countries, which are key pillars of the AI semiconductor supply chain.
Earlier, Huang visited South Korea in October last year to attend the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju, where he met with major business leaders including Lee Jae-yong and Chung Eui-sun. The meeting, dubbed the 'Kkanbu gathering,' drew widespread attention. It was his first visit in about 15 years since 2010.
