[Financial News] French luxury brand Chanel is drawing attention with a collection inspired by nature.
According to the luxury industry on the 28th, Chanel held the 'CHANEL Métiers d'Art 2026 Seoul Show' on the 26th at Centre Pompidou Hanwha in Yeouido, Seoul.
The event was attended by Chanel global ambassador Jennie of BLACKPINK, G-Dragon of BIGBANG, and actors Kim Go-eun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Youn Yuh-jung, Bae Doona, and Ji Chang-wook.
This Chanel Métiers d'Art collection, led by Matthieu Blazy, was inspired by the way people with diverse personalities intersect in the city. It is also the first Métiers d'Art collection unveiled since Matthieu Blazy joined Chanel as Chanel Fashion Artistic Director.
Since 2002, the Chanel Métiers d'Art collection has been presented every year as a stage honoring the exceptional craftsmanship that forms the foundation of the house's creations, while also spotlighting the artisans involved in making the collection.
This collection showcased a wide range of designs, from elements reflecting Chanel's connection to film to superhero-inspired styles, animal prints, and colorful silhouettes.
In particular, a Chanel Mini Flap Bag with a squirrel-like metal embellishment and a wool tail, as well as another Mini Flap Bag with a giraffe-inspired metal detail, drew attention. Also unveiled were a flap bag with handwoven pearl embellishments and a poodle motif, along with evening bags inspired by acorns, peanuts, and apples.
A dark khaki Large Hobo Bag made of Lambskin, featuring a woman walking her pet dog, also attracted attention. The item is currently sold on Chanel's official website for 13.29 million won. Mary Jane shoes designed to look as if a ladybug were perched on a feather are also being sold on Chanel's official website for 5.28 million won.
Meanwhile, the '2026 Chanel Métiers d'Art collection' will be available at offline boutiques around the world starting on the 4th of next month.
