[Financial News] A suspect who carried out a stabbing at an LG Electronics office, claiming workplace bullying, has been arrested by police.
According to Financial News on the 27th, Seoul Gangseo Police Station arrested an LG Electronics partner company employee, identified as A, on suspicion of attempted murder at 11:58 a.m. that day.
A is accused of stabbing two LG Electronics employees, a man in his 50s and another in his 40s, one after the other with a knife on the second floor of LG Electronics Magok Business Center in Gangseo District, Seoul. The victims suffered injuries to their sides and arms and were taken to hospital.
Police responded after receiving a report at 11:18 a.m. that two men had been found collapsed after being stabbed with a knife. After launching a search for the suspect, officers found and arrested A near Digital Media City station in Seoul.
A reportedly claimed that he had committed the crime impulsively after suffering workplace bullying. Police are investigating A to determine the exact motive and circumstances of the incident.
