[News1] Jang Wonyoung of IVE has drawn attention after revealing the interior of her home, furnished with high-end pieces, following reports that she purchased a luxury villa in UN Village, Hannam-dong, Seoul, for 13.7 billion won.
On the 21st, Jang Wonyoung posted several photos on her Instagram showing her leaning back on a sofa and taking a break.
The photos show Jang Wonyoung wearing a sky-blue sleeveless top and spending a relaxed moment on a red sofa, with a living room view of the Han River and Lotte Tower in the background. She also shared the post on her Instagram Story with the caption "home sweet home."
According to News1, the sofa occupying much of the living room in Jang Wonyoung's home is believed to be the "Dune Sofa," designed by French designer Pierre Paulin.
The Dune Sofa is known as an interior item favored by celebrities such as U.S. television personality Kim Kardashian and singer Justin Bieber. Each modular section reportedly costs between 7 million won and 11 million won, making it a high-end piece of furniture.
Given the size of the sofa placed in Jang Wonyoung's living room, the total price is estimated to exceed 100 million won.
Earlier, Jang Wonyoung bought one 244-square-meter unit at Lucid Haus in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, for 13.7 billion won in March last year and completed the ownership registration in October of the same year.
Lucid Haus is a luxury villa located inside UN Village in Hannam-dong. Jang Wonyoung drew attention at the time for purchasing the property entirely in cash.
Located in an area with views of both the Han River and Namsan Mountain, Lucid Haus consists of just 15 households across two buildings. It was also once home to actress Kim Tae-hee before her marriage to singer and actor Rain.
