[Financial News]  Public anger is growing after a claim was posted online that a Japanese passenger caused a disturbance aboard a flight from Incheon to Osaka.
On the 21st, a photo was posted on the online community Bobaedream under the title, "Japanese man causes a disturbance on an aircraft."
The user, identified as A, wrote, "A Japanese man on the Incheon-to-Osaka flight exposed his bare feet, kicked the seat in front of him, assaulted a passenger, and ignored the crew's instructions."
In the photo, the man in question is seen stretching his legs out toward the aisle with his feet bare. His face was also revealed while he was seated.
As the post spread rapidly, online users have been criticizing the Japanese man.
Netizens left comments such as, "People like that seem to exist everywhere," "That behavior threatens in-flight safety," and "It is seriously inconsiderate."
There were also calls for strong punishment for the in-flight disturbance and for ignoring the crew's instructions.
One netizen pointed out, "If he assaulted a passenger and disobeyed the crew, he could have been detained on the plane. He should have been arrested upon arrival at the airport."
However, as of now, no official statement from the airline or confirmation of whether the man was actually handed over to police has been made.
