[Financial News] U.S. President Donald Trump, who is visiting Beijing from the 13th to the 15th, said he will travel to China with major U.S. business leaders. He also said he plans to ask the Chinese government to open its market.
On the 12th local time, Trump wrote on Truth Social that "CNBC inaccurately reported that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang would not accompany him on this trip to China, but he is now on Air Force One." Trump said CNBC had spread "fake news" that was just as inaccurate as its political coverage. He added that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, Kelly Ortberg, CEO of Boeing, and Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, would also join the trip to China. He also said he was "honored to travel and be together with these business leaders in the great nation of China."

U.S. media reported on the 11th, citing a White House official, that Trump had deliberately excluded Huang from the list of business leaders traveling to China. Experts said Trump was not bringing Huang along to send a warning to Chinese companies that they cannot obtain NVIDIA's cutting-edge artificial intelligence chips.
Trump said, "I will ask President Xi Jinping to open China," adding, "That way, talented people can work their magic and lift China to a much higher level." He emphasized that "in a few hours, we will meet, and that will be the first thing I ask for." He also said of opening China's market, "I have never heard of, or seen, a plan that would do more for our two incredible countries than this."
Trump, visiting China for the first time in nine years, will arrive in Beijing on the evening of the 13th and hold a summit with Xi on the 14th. He is expected to meet Xi face-to-face at least six times before returning home on the 15th.
